STUDENTS LEARNING OUTCOME Rock Valley College have been and will continue to help student graduate or continue their education with the best knowledge of the student learning outcome also knowing as SLO. The six SLO are Communicate effectively, Integrate technology into all fields of knowledge and expression, Demonstrate competency in critical thinking, Respect and work effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds and abilities, Demonstrate the behaviors of ethical and socially responsible citizens, and last one is Demonstrate personal wellness. In the real world SLO is very important; u might not need to learn all of them, but at least most, RVC knows that’s important for the real world, career and life we as student choose. Upon completion of the RVC, we as students should be able to recognize and understand SLO and master it. What is SLO?
The purpose of higher learning allows growth while broadening my perspective to help educate others. The complete and concise curriculum allows me to prioritize my daily routines to become an enhanced student and educator. My concerns and difficulties were at a low level during this module because of the great support system provided in the GCU program. Corruption in Education Many students come to college to experience a new way of life and to form a new understanding of the world. They rely on their professors to provide them with the information necessary to achieve their goals. A classroom is most beneficial to a student when there is no ignorance or closed-mindedness. If the professor teaches both sides of issues and allows the class to debate topics without manipulating the students to believe what the professor believes, it gives the students all the tools they need to succeed in that specific class and in the future. The vital abilities that each child must pick up are to understand necessary instructions. This is an important age that children are attempting to guess who they are. Educators will have to help the students if they need it because certain circumstances that students will rely on the teacher more than their own parents. I am certain that Ron’s conduct has a lot to do with the new surroundings. When a student is in new surroundings they will search and test the grounds on which they can and cannot do.
Social Justice Leadership Introduction Possessing good leadership traits in an educational environment is the beginning of serving students, colleagues, staff, and an entire network of people to promote, enhance, and produce positive changes for the benefit of the people and its institution. And the last reason why college matters is because it helps you interact with other people better. Communication plays a very important role every single day and a lot of employers rely on their employees to have sufficient communication skills. Some people tend to interact with people very well and others don’t. For the people who don’t interact with people well, college will give you the opportunity to enhance your communication skills for the real world.
How can you apply what you have learned? One of the most valuable elements that I learned from the Political Frame Wiki is that each of the key players play a significant role in the political frame. Key players can include counselors, teachers and even janitors. What is important is that each key player is given an opportunity to utilize their strengths to provide students with an optimal learning experience so that they may fare as adults in the real world. They could also feel really happy about it as it also gives them the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Another common transition experienced by children and young people is moving up through the school years. This could make the child feel anxious and apprehensive about meeting their new teacher, if they are in high school they may also be feeling anxious and worried about their new timetable and getting used to it.
