Studying Abroad Studying Abroad Introduction Carrying studies abroad is quite challenging and can act as a platform upon which a student may learn a number of life lessons. The fact that a student is exposed to a new environment is a challenge as the student has to learn to adapt to the new environment in a number of ways. Studying aboard is beneficial in a number of ways: confronting new challenge, learning new cultures and increasing one’s marketability. However, sometimes studies carried abroad may alienate a student into adopting bad character which may completely ruin her or his life. The Benefits of Studying Abroad Studying abroad creates a platform upon which a student encounters new challenges. There are many challenges which are confronted when a person comes to a new place. These challenges for the case of a student will help in a huge way to prepare a student to learn way of solving problems in his or her life. Encountering of new and dynamic challenges helps to stretch the thinking capacity and ability to solve problems of a student (Wise and Hauser 636). This is very significant as it helps to ensure that a student is fully developed in all the faculties apart from the lessons and skills learnt in class. Confronting challenges and solving them helps to boost the confidence of a person and helps in making a person more responsible. Studying abroad therefore is helpful as it makes it possible for student to graduate being more responsible and more confident to meet new challenges in the market place (Bisceglia 1; McKeown 11). Studying abroad makes it possible for a student to have a good worldview of the workplace due to the different cultural interactions that he or she encounters.
