As I spent more time trying to bring up my grade in one class, my grades began to suffer in my other classes. I decided to make a drastic change. I needed to quit going to football workouts which takes a lot of my studying and homework time, so that I can focus on my classes. At the time,
Another top reason is because of failing, also known as academic disqualification. If a student fails a subject, say math or English, he or she needs to retake it. This means money is involve since the student needs to pay for it the second time. To avoid this, each student must keep in mind that college is a whole new different level compared to high school. Each subjects getting more and more serious and tougher.
Would you rather have a time to do work because you have practice after school or have PE class? Well today there are many students’ grades suffering because they have no time after school to do their homework, which is a good reason for those students to replace their PE class with a study hall to do their homework. So student athletes should not have to do PE because they need time to do their homework, they can get injured in PE class and not be able to play and you already get enough exercise from sports. First of all, student athletes need extra time to do their homework because of having to leave early for games, getting home late from games and having at least two or more hours of homework. So giving them extra time to do their homework in school would increase the advantages of having their homework done.
To have a plan and goal in your schooling is a good way to start as well, and a system with your schedules and everything else will be also very helpful to maintain a good grade in college in all your classes. The first thing that is very important is attendance that is because if you do not show up for your classes it will hurt you in various ways. It can get you super behind on everything that is going on in class. And in college you are given points each day for showing up to class and if you’re not there those are class points you are losing for each of the days you do not come. Most teachers give you a couple days that you can be absent for and any more days you are absent after that points are taken off.
If they get tired and sleepy then children can not function properly in school and during other lessons, like piano or math. This gives children a lot of stress that they have to finish EVERYTHING by a certain date. Some smart students may have already learned the subjects that they are doing really well and they have to do it again needlessly. I think that is why a lot of homework is a complete burden. All in all, I think that too much homework is unnecessary and a torture to so many children.
When you go to school full time you have to look at the bigger picture of how you are going to live while in school. The classes are usually larger and the work load is more demanding. An individual may have to work part time and go to school which adds more stress to going to college. The financial dilemma has a major effect on an older person attending college. If your job pays you to further your education you still have to look for the hidden costs they don’t pay.
Having financial problems played a factor also in my returning to school. Being a single parent, with no support, I knew that I had to make some drastic changes. I have to joggle so many tasks each day and it can be hard. My family motivates me not to give up on my academic goals because I know it is something I have to do. Additionally, having a better income to support me and my family would be nice.
During those periods I'd be able to finish homework or study for tests, leaving me more time to concentrate on all my extracurricular activities, sports and scholarship applications. Furthermore, if I do end up getting a terrible marks, I'd have an opportunity to be able to repeat the course. Looking at the amount of repetitive work we have to do everyday, my guess is that I won't do as good as I usually would in an English class. For example, it's very hard not to get bored with writing an outline, rough draft, second draft, and final copy all in the same day; it will drop my mark for sure. Additionally, there's something about essay and paragraph writing that just demands my full attention; summer school excellently provides this opportunity .
As a result, I sometimes get behind of my classes and I had to sleep less to catch up with my school work, which also increases my level of stress. In addition, I do not have a strong immune system so dealing with allergies has lso affected my school work and therefore my anxiety and stress levels go up. I find myself spending too much time on school and combined issues at home. I need to focus more on myself, my personal life and my social life. 2.
But the soda or coffee makes you crash later. Plus, when students get so stressed out trying to get good grades by doing homework, the stress can get them sick .And all of this could have been avoided m causing less stress if we only didn’t have the homework. And my last point is, homework takes up way too much time. My math assignments alone take at least an hour. And then I still have to work on any assignments I might have in English or science.
