It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize. A balance of the important things in one’s life is what allows personal success to be achieved. Successfulness is the ability to seize new opportunities and explore new paths in life. Balance is the key to success because when there is balance in one’s life there is a cut back of stress, which makes room for the ability to thrive; and a person’s ability to thrive is what carries them to their personal success. To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life.

Every Individual is different by nature and has varied strengths and weaknesses. Success lies in tapping each individual’s strengths and overcoming their weaknesses. As a Team, we all have to make sure to utilize each others strong personality traits and help each other to overcome and strengthen the weak points. It is easier to arrive at a solution, once you know the problem.
Respect is a quality that one does not simply acquire, but takes long periods of time to build up. The author constantly relates one’s respect with their duties throughout this essay. A very insightful view on the topic of respect and how it is built is when Buck states, “responsibility breeds in respect, and when our young people assume responsibility, they deserve our respect” (pg 398). As respect is not given but earned, this is one of the most logical ways of earning it. With this respect comes a stronger conscience as well as greater morals.
As human beings, we are all unique and special in our own way. I understand that the financial resources are limited, but maybe they could be utilized in a more helpful way. In my personal opinion, group therapy is quite often a waste of time and valuable resources that could be better used. A healthy state of mind is our most powerful weapon. It is what enables us to succeed, overcome adversity, and find the strength within.
When working in a team setting I find myself wanting to start ahead of everyone else and leading the group to obtain the best results. The D style personality weaknesses can include when I over step authority due to control issues. My listening skills are often poor in certain situations, which results to overlooking the important issues. The dominance personality style person is motivated by new challenges and achieving goals. Dominance personality leaders are humble but enjoy verbal recognition as well as rewards.
Reflecting on activities from work and also other places is a great way to develop the things that you know, and also discover what you don’t know. Learning to properly reflect on what has happened is in the past is a very valuable personal skill, and it’s a way that an individual can develop themselves without the need for textbooks and training, merely learning not to repeat mistakes you’ve made, and recognising actions as mistakes in the first place goes a long way to making a person more efficient at their job role. It’s important to access the skills you have, and also the skills you lack to know where improvement is needed. Not only is this is a motivational piece, but it’s also telling the truth, it also lets people know that hard work pays off. Thomas pains quote is a motivational piece because it’s telling people that in order to get something you will value, you will have to work hard to get it. That is a life lesson some people miss. Hard work pays off in the long run.
Doing things this way keeps me responsible for my known self. If I do not learn something, it can only be my own fault. Taking that responsibility to do things on my own makes me a stronger person. I tend to think things through to a point where I can become exhausted with things. Getting the right meaning or answer to things is a value I hold close.
Intellectual education influences the head and values based education influences the heart. In fact, education that does not train the heart can be dangerous. Ability without the right attitude is wasted. Whom, then, do I call educated?
