It is important that coaches understand what values they wish to instill in their athletes. What types of characteristics and skills does the coach want the athlete to posses when they leave the program? To me the value of coaching young athletes is extremely rewarding. The opportunity for me to give to these athletes what all my coaches gave
The school will be affected by my role because as a team we will plan events that all classes participate in and hopefully enjoy. 6. I was motivated to seek this position because I had experience being a part of SGA before. I enjoyed being a part of the team and now as a rising senior I would like to take on more responsibility because I know I can handle it. I’ve seen the work that goes into planning some of these events
This implies that it is an on-going activity and needs to be thought about as something that is incremental with different elements contributing to a large whole. Personal professional development increases the capabilities of staff. By been competent I can use my skills and knowledge to share my ideas and practices with my colleagues to help improve their skills, I also listen to them to hear their experiences and this can help me to discover my professional development as well as new skills. At this point in their lives I believe the players would be more receptive of the training and understand why you work so hard in practice. 3. How do you define success? I don’t define success with wins or losses. I define success by how many players learn something not just about the sport but about life lessons.
Unit 523 1.1 The induction process is essential for everyone at the company as it is the tool that is used to integrate new employees fully into a staff team and by having an effective induction period this has a knock on effect where a staff team is built on positive foundations and everyone is working at the same level towards the same goals. Because of the nature of the young people we care for our induction includes a two week period where the staff member will “shadow” an experienced member of staff. This gives the staff member the opportunity to get used to the environment of working in a house without the pressure of being officially on shift. It also gives the young people a chance to get used to having a new person working at the house as some of the young people can react differently to change in their lives as they have had a difficult upbringing. During this period the staff member receives in-house mandatory training which includes first aid, restraint training, recording and safeguarding.

I believe the graduate program at George Mason University is the best fit for me since it will help me continue the journey toward my ultimate career goal, a journey that began early in my life. Since the first time I laid eyes on financial charts as a young girl, I have been fascinated by finance related topics. This curiosity led me to focus my studies at the University of Virginia on commerce with an emphasis on finance and information technology. During that time, to gain practical experience and insights, I held several internships that covered every part of the business, from finance and accounting to data management. Upon graduation I accepted a full-time position at SAIC, where I spent the first three years in FP&A managing the finances for two independent operations with combined annual revenue of nearly $160M, over 100

From this, my students will be able to express their individuality and I can help them develop this. I want my student athletes to be unique and, with that in mind, possess unique skills as it pertains to sports. I believe that if student athletes possess a firm understanding of who they are as individuals and what they are capable of, and then they can truly develop their individual style(s) of play. This in turn can help lead to team unity and can establish a team spirit within all the student athletes that can lead to camaraderie and ultimately, success. It is our job as educators and coaches to help develop our student athletes not only physically, but mentally as well; promoting uniqueness, along with individuality, can help in this developmental
