Job Details: Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers. Responsible for preparing schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels on a 24-hour basis according to administrative requirements. This position works under the general guidance of Lannie Ward and supports the entire nursing division. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities * Obtains necessary daily information to ensure census and staffing needs are met. * Electronically schedules Caregiver staff and assists in instruction of electronic scheduling within Generations. * Under the direction of Lannie Ward, obtains or cancels additional staffing as needed to ensure that staffing needs are appropriate for the number of patients. * Maintains open communication with Lannie Ward, and Caregivers, regarding staffing needs. * Maintains accurate department information, which supports production of reports, schedules and other documents according to departmental protocol on a daily, weekly and as needed basis. * answer telephone, screen and direct calls * take and relay messages * provide information to callers * greet persons entering organization * deal with queries from the public and customers * ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization * general administrative and clerical support * maintain client appointment diary electronically * tidy and maintain the reception area Education and Experience * high school diploma generally required * knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures * knowledge of computers and relevant software applications * knowledge of customer service principles and practices * keyboard skills Key Competencies * verbal and written
