The Sri Lanka Australia Tournament 2012/2013 ended with Australia winning the test series and ODIs n Sri Lanka winning the T20 series.
Sri Lanka’s tour of Australia was highly anticipated by cricket fans across the globe. The first test proved to be an anti-climax to local spectators with Australia scoring 137 runs scoring 450/5d and 278 and Sri Lanka scored 336 and 255 runs. Michael Hussey pulled of a brilliant innings scoring 115 not out in the 1st Innings and Welagedara taking 3 wickets in his 26 overs and giving away 130 runs with only 1 maiden over.
Dishan held the test together innings together scoring 147 runs but Siddle managed to get 5 wickets giving away only 54 runs in 25.3 overs. The second innings Warner was the highest run scorer of 68 and Herath got 5 wickets in 21.5 overs but gave away 95 runs. Starc and Siddle helped bowl our Sri Lanka taking 5 and 4 wickets respectively and Watson taking the last wicket. The highest run scorer was Sangakakara with just 63 runs.

Australia won the 2nd test by an innings 201 by bowling out Sri Lanka for 156 runs in the 1st innings and 103 in the second innings. Australia scored 460 runs in their innings.

Australia won the 3rd test as well by 5 wickets by bowling out Sri Lanka for 294 and 278 runs in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively and scoring 432/5d and 141/5 in their 2 innings.
