Spreading Gang Activities in BC
Report by Stephen Li
On Wednesday, Oct. 7th 2009, the Anti-Gang Organization (AGO) of BC has detected the spreading of gangs in British Columbia, the AGO has hinted that the gangs had tried to keep this as silent as possible, and it is also believed that the bigger gangs are ‘buying’ the smaller gangs.
“This had to be stopped,” says the Chief Police of Vancouver.
It’s been three days since the detection, and the problem is getting worse. Some police claimed that there are traces of gang activities on highways, small towns, and its gas stations; the activities includes gangs fighting another gang, damaging the properties of shop keepers, cars, and more. However, the AGO has been looking for solutions, and they believe they will have a solution to the problem in a few weeks time. Right now the organization is thinking of seizing this problem by force, but the idea was taken down due to risks of giving even more damage to the societies.
The AGO wasn't the only one trying to find a solution- the Police of Edmonton, are also trying to help. They’ve been coming up with several great solutions, which are still in consideration.
Right now the Province of BC are looking for information inside the gangs, the people who can give the right information will be rewarded. Informants can contact by private phone line- *604 104 XXXX
*more procedures will be followed in the call
