For a big country like China, one important thing is being responsible to the world. Decreasing the domestic population presses is the currency duty for China. Even though the one-child policy causes some negative effects, but currently it is an effective way for the population of
Agreeing & Disagreeing with an Argument When it comes to discussions of how sports, over time, have changed many perspectives on how to live life, one controversial issue has been whether or not sports have taught us to maintain discipline rather than being something that someone must pick a side on. Some people believe that sports were created and implemented in schools to teach patience, honesty, and discipline amongst the male population. In contrast, others maintain that sports are heavily competitive and that it is not the matter of discipline and sportsmanship anymore, but it is the vital need to win the game. In “Why Sports Matter,” Wilfrid Sheed, contends that in the old days, sportsmen were paid by glory, and by giving them the motivation they need to perform better. According to Sheed, “Schools and colleges also teach something by their very natures, which is that you are now playing for a whole community and not just yourself” (498).” Essentially, what Sheed is saying is that sports have brought entire communities to share and experience one thing they love, and that this is truly honorable for the individuals playing the game.
Although they entertain millions, athletes don’t contribute nearly as much to society as they should, based on their earnings. They do have potential to make a difference, but at the moment they are being unfairly rewarded for doing so little. People may argue that sportspeople entertain millions, if not billions of people. 141 million people tuned in to the 2009 Super Bowl. They have influence over all of their followers, but does this justify their earnings?
Some athletes can be role models, and some can be an example of what not to do or be like if you are striving to reach the professional athlete level. Playing sports are fun and fun to watch, but it seem as though when an athlete began to get paid to play, the love for the game go out of the window. As I watch athletes perform, they are giving their best in order to win the game. Fans love to see their favorite team leave it all on the field or court, win or lose, but prefer a win. Some fans take a lost to the extreme.
But not even President Obama’s $33 billion tax credit was not enough to substantially increase jobs in the market. To the contrary, it has gotten more difficult and complicated to keep the job market growing at a satisfactory pace. King claims ”If the Great Recession has taught us anything, it is that planning for the future by saving more and enacting policies that sustain economic growth are what will keep the American Dream alive.” Many economists believe that rather than having the resources divided among different competing groups, individuals should be giving unregulated economic freedom to selfishly improve their lot and eventually their efforts would trickle down to the rest of society. Though this thought actually worked for America for many decades, the global markets no dictate what control we have over the
The fact that Wal-Mart is a company not even a country; and is China’s eighth largest trading partner; just makes us realize how much economic growth depends on businesses to produce more goods and services faster and more efficiently. According to many economists, continuous economic growth leads to greater prosperity for everyone, but because so many countries are trying to achieve the same exact thing, competition is harsh. These are some positive and negative perspectives that are caused by international trade. As you can see, the relationship between the three sources is that they are all based on trade. All around the world, different countries import and export goods to each other so they can benefit themselves with economic growth.
Social Security, taxes, health care is just a touchy subject for many older voters because they depend on it. There is way too much to talk about to write in an essay so that’s why I think I talk about the key points. This can tie up with economics because it is a circular flow of money, just like we went over in Economics class. One way or another we get money to spend money. In President Obama’s case he just makes money, re-opens failing businesses and spends more than we create or can pay back to china.
I feel that Hospers possesses a well made up argument, libertarianism, which will encourage the overall success within humans. I strongly believe that Hospers approach is a way to live and bring out the truth. The protection of an individual should be the prime and only role of a government in power. To bring out the truth within our currently corrupt world, the government must step down and allow humans to do as they please as long as others are not affected, negatively. This will bring happiness over the government’s people ultimately making the whole nation more pristine and able to move forward in solving life’s greatest mysteries.
My dream it that we can all live in a happy world, where we can all be friends with everyone, without discrimination of color, religion, nationality and most importantly that we can decide what it better for us. But I know that some times that is not possible because some people do not have that ability, and sometimes their disability to think right is very dangerous in our society. I rather have criminals and mentally ill persons medicated than having to think all the time about what could happen. I know that this way I can be sure in some way that I live in a not totally but in somehow safe world. I think it is sad that government has to force people to be medicated but it is very
Without any actors, athletes, or musicians the world would be a boring place because America is driven by entertainment. So there for, human capital value pays athletes. Undoubtedly, professional athletes deserve their money, but that doesn’t mean other professions do not deserve to be paid just as much. Athletes earn their money in different ways. Teachers, doctors, cops, and other beneficial careers get paid from our tax dollars; whereas our sports players get a small portion of our taxes and to top it off money from spendy fans.
