Spiritual Formation in the Church In the following essay we will be looking at the Spiritual Formation of the church to see what we should do to make sure that the growth of the church is productive and helps each individual that comes in seeking Christ. What is key, to focus on and what is not important and should be ignored? The ultimate goal is to make sure each person who enters a church is given the best we can give them, that should be our only goal. The church should be the center of where people can go to find Jesus. It should be in everything they see from the way it is set up to every person that you meet. But does the church really know how to make that happen and are they equipped to show that to every person that enters? To begin with a church should have strong leaders in it that are driven to do things according to God’s word. The driving force should be “The Word of God,” and not the opinions are beliefs of any leader in the church. The whole structure of the church should start with the Pastor who is called by God and not motivated by anything else other than winning souls for the Lord. When they are motivated by, money (prosperity), fame, or other vises of the world there is no way that the church can be in a position to meet the needs of the person who comes in, or the community they serve because they are too busy trying to meet their own needs. The one thing that must be understood is that in order for the Pastor to be in the right position he must be hearing from God which means that he has a relationship with God. Then he can guide the church and train the church in the right way to spiritually meet the needs of all members and for those that will come in off the streets. Now with the Pastor in place and linked to God we can move on the next group that needs to be in place. The next people should be the other servants in the church. This
