Geography 104 Field Trip: Observations of On the class field trip to downtown Victoria, I observed a variety of the different building structures, functions, and diversity and how they have evolved over time. Along with my observations I obtained a grasp on some historical knowledge of places including the harbour, Chinatown, and Bastion Square. The Inner Harbour is provides what some might say the most stunning view in Victoria. It is full of adventure and holds different opportunities for both residents and tourists to really experience and adventure Victoria’s landscape. One of the biggest amusement parks known around the United States is Cedar Point. Many people attend the park during the summer when it’s warm. Some reasons may be why people go is because there are many roller coasters, good food choices, multiple overnight choices, and a lake with a beach right outside the park. It has a little something for the whole family. Adults can relax by the pretty pool or the gorgeous beach while having delicious drink, the kids can play at the mini water park next to the pool or just hang out at the kids club which is fun free babysitting. Teens can hang out at the pool or beach and at night hang out at the club for 17 years old and younger.
Some of the activities at certain resorts include going to the spa, golfing, dining and even a water park. But there are other places to enjoy outside the resort too. Fun places for the whole family to visit are Miner Mikes and Busters game place, Big Surf Water Park, Timber Falls indoor water park, and many places to mini golf and to go go-carting. For the grown ups there are many night clubs to spend the day and evening at. Some like the Blue Room night club, Topsiders, and the H. Toads hold live music performed by local bands or well known music artists.
One of the factors affect the population distribution is the employment opportunity. The Kelowna international airport, the markets and malls, the colleges, for examples, provide many jobs. The other main factor influences the distribution is the availability of affordable housing. As an international student, I have done lots of research on the housing rental. Comparing the similar type of condos located around UBCO, OC, and downtown Kelowna in the same period, the prices at most differ by 150 hundreds.
Chicago has museums, Navy Pier, parks, zoos, and the beautiful magnificent mile. Orlando has Disney World, Universal, and Sea World. When tourists go to Chicago they know that this is a big city that they can walk around and see different things at many turns. In Orlando tourist have to travel by car or bus in order to get to the theme parks. Both cities generate generous tourist revenue; especially Orlando because who does not want to come somewhere tropical and see the beautiful castle at Disney World.

The beauty of each state can be seen through the each states natural environment. For example, Arkansas boasts of many natural areas, “…scenic beauty and endless recreation make for some of the best…”, such as the Buffalo River, Petit Jean State Park, Mount Magazine , and countless other natural areas that attract tourists and natives. In California its natural beauty can be see through its countless beaches such as Camarillo beach, Venice beach, Laguna beach, and Redondo beach. The state also includes 18 national forests such as Yosemite and Sierra National Forests. Arkansas and California share many differences and a couple of similarities.
