The Trans-Atlantic trading system mainly took silver from deposits in Potosí, Bolivia, thus, creating a connection to the old and new world. By trading silver with Chinese, who only accepted silver from the Americas, it created a high demand for silver, allowing an increase in global economy. Resulting in the middle passage, the Trans-Atlantic had a gigantic involvement with slaves, who kept up sugar plantations, thus, connecting West Africa to the Caribbean and America to Western Europe. In contrast to the Trans-Atlantic, the Indian Ocean trade connected East to West Africa and Europe to Africa. Goods traded along the system included silk and porcelain from China, spices from SE Asia and peppers, pearls, and cotton from India.
The East Asia, Mongolian and European sub-system. The primary trade routes linked the sub-systems. Marco polo went travelled through China and Mongol empire having access to the black sea. The Fertile Crescent modern day Iraq had a central trade through its capital Baghdad which went through Persian gulf which gave access to spice trade. This system was remarkable because historians have concentrated on countries such as India, China, or France which all were in Afro-Eurasian system.
Silk Road. Between 200 B.C.E and 1450C.E, the Silk Road was a mayor trade route that gave way for interactions between Asia and Europe. The change patterns that the Silk Road underwent depended on the strengths of the Empires in the Europe and Asia during a period of time. If the Empire was flourishing so was the trade on the Silk Road and if the Empires were losing ground so was the trade. On the Silk Road, not only were goods being traded, culture, religious, philosophical and technological ideas were also being exchanged.
Therefore, further research is needed on the mentioned missing points. The purpose of this research is to comprehensively assess the impact of Chinese aid on developing countries, to identify its differences from "classical" aid and to analyze particular examples of allocating aid to the Republic of Moldova and Romania. This would be achieved by means of comparative analysis of terms and policies adapted by the Public Republic of China and Development Assistance Committee. The outcomes of this study could prove useful to the further research of specific cases of Chinese foreign aid
