The Rhetorical Essay: Money Is Not Everything?

712 Words3 Pages
This quote confuse me the first time i reaad, but as i read it the second time. I truely got it's meaning. I agree. Money is not everything. Eventhough you have alot of money with you, you might not be happy. I would rather have a good husband and a happy family than being rich but nobody loves me.

I think that it's talking about the people that have no family or friends and all they have with them is money. The quote isn't talking about the poor as in no food, shelter, ect. The things that are not materialistic i think anybody can have money and be "rich" but the best kind of rich is having real friends and family the love and care for you. I hope you get what I'm trying to say hope I kind of helped
This is a good quote. Poor and rich

The meaning is: Those with education and intelligence possess everything; those without these are not worth anything even if they have everything…show more content…
i.e. only money does not makes one rich because its essential that one should have "life" , "love" , and "respect" .

@does that mean the richest person is one who values love? Who is a rich person?: a richest person is one who have lots of money + lots of love . but the dark side of this truth is this that for becoming richest , one has to hurt others either it is in the field of marketing or it is in his own home [i.e. that person will not waste time his loved ones as don't have time spread the love ]
It means that people that have hardly anything are always appreciative of what they have. They enjoy the little things. Whereas wealthier people don't always seem to enjoy that
That is not only concerned to the rich people but to our society as we all r running for money & losing our social norms. One who cannot follow social norms is the poorest on this earth. Give time to your near & dear ones
Money can't buy happiness. Money can't buy love. Money can't buy friends either. I'd rather be poor but my life is complete with love and happiness than to be as rich as Steve Jobs!
