The key points are to clearly post, refer to, and review learning objectives and language objectives. Multiple levels of English proficiency are set by standards that the students are monitored by model performance indicators. A student’s native language affects his or her language and academic outcomes by being surrounded by other students who are also ELL with the same English acquisition. Students may utilize their home language more in conversations when speaking to classmates who are from the same home language group (Willoughby, 2009). In speaking to other ELL students whose home language is different, ELL students, use English but due to the students’ limitations in their English proficiency, they expose each other to more broken English I will value the instructional power of a word wall by frequently utilizing, maintaining, and updating it.All too often, secondary educators miss important opportunities to build the literacy skills of all students.
Although some children will develop normal speech and language skills without treatment by the time they enter school, it is important to identify those who will not. Many people falsely believe that speech-language treatment cannot and should not begin until a child begins to talk. Yet, research has shown that children know a great deal about their language even before the first word is said. For example, children can distinguish between their native language and a foreign language, use different nonverbal utterances to express different needs, and imitate different patterns of speech through

1-3 Years By their first birthday, most babies have learnt the basics of movement and being mobile by either sitting, rolling, shuffling or crawling around. Some babies have even started standing with little or no support, and some are even walking. They use their hands for pointing, waving, feeding themselves and holding small objects. They will also enjoy playing with a ball and at this stage want to climb on everything or anything. By the time they have reached the age of three, a child’s fine motor skills will be used with a lot more control and they are able to hold a pencil and turn the pages of a book.
However, there is one rule that Washington writes that is important and that many people today have lost knowledge in which is that “every action done in company, ought to be with some sign of respect, to those that are present”. and that is his first and most valuable rule. Treating others with respect is something that has been lost in many people today. First, people do not know how to respect others, especially due to the technology that many have access to. The younger generation of many teens and children have lack
With early intervention there are many services that parents can use relating to their child’s disabilities. Early intervention is for children from birth up until about kindergarten and it helps to prepare the family for the educational journey that they will face over the course of their life. There are not any weaknesses of early intervention. Early intervention is used to better the child and help build strengths where there are weaknesses. The strengths of early intervention are enhanced development, minimized developmental delays, and can decrease the need for special education in the future.
Reading is Key Reading is about learning. We all learn our ABC’s in kindergarten and learn the sound the different letters make. Every word is different and enticing when we are young children learning to read because we finally know what signs say and how to spell our names. Individuals use words and speak thousands every day. Most people write everyday whether it having to be a letter, email, resume, a note, or even just a few words on a sticky note.
My children constantly remind me that even with my flaws and short comings. They feel for me and with me as I do with them. It is not so much what they say that keeps me going but the support that they give no matter what decision I make. As far as having an ego buster, many people have come into my life and made me feel inadequate in some form or another but for years I have had two relatives both aunts that have been quite capable of making me feel as though I have not been able to progress even when I have. They are both every verbal people and their ability to verbally point out the inferiority in people and myself being their focus much of the time assures me that in most times I am on a path they are not happy with because the path that I am on is a path that they them selves have not been able to travel and complete.
Interests in others, their ideas, their feelings, what they do. They know the words stand for people, objects, what they do and what happens. They are taking part in the language of their culture. 1-2 years, children begin to talk with words or sign language. They add more and more layers to everything they know about language and communication in the first year.
We have been called “the melting pot”. Because people come here from different countries, they almost always can not speak English. Some people learn it quickly, for some it may take time, and others never learn it at all. This all may depend on a person’s financial ability to pay for an English course or the rate at which people learn. I don’t think the lack of desire to learn is a common reason as to why people never learn to speak English while living in this country.
