There is no doubt that here in America we are dealing with one of the greatest economic downfalls. It is said that 46.2 million Americans are now living in poverty. This is due to the shrinking number of jobs, the rise of the working poor, the dependency on the government is raising, health cost (the biggest threat of all) are crippling American families, and more and more children, our nations future, are living in poverty or close to poverty. These situations are making it hard for Americans to make it in everyday life. They have to even sometimes beg for food for their families. So many people living in the United States have full-time jobs but the pay is minimum wage. With the economy in the shape it is, it makes those full-time jobs seem like only part-time jobs.
Everyone needs a home. Rich or poor; all people are included. This is a problem that occurs in many places of the world because housing costs a great deal of money, especially in the San Francisco area. Poor people can barely afford food and clothing so that makes it even more difficult to find affordable housing. As a result, some live in unsafe and unsanitary conditions that are badly in need of repair.
With the harsh conditions of the society, people without jobs cannot afford to survive. No income can cause a reaction to where it is detrimental to how a family is structured. Wealthy families can afford education for their kids, a roof to live under in, and form of transportation to get around in, last but not least the survival of the fittest. The issue that we will have on going is race. Discrimination will always be a factor in our society.
Globalization in most cases is seen as a question to our selves as to what is going on in our world today. From where we were and to where we are and to where our future would lie. Some of the most intellectual and hard working individuals, who are not satisfied with their own native countries, bring their knowledge and skills to the United States. Some countries cannot offer the limitless opportunities that the United States offers. For example, businesses can be started; you can become educated and earn a high-salary career. Many people in other countries have desired the same things we have: living wealthy and the feeling of living the” American dream”. America offers many ways for a person to potentially become great.
We can’t hide the fact that people desperately need money to meet their needs. This results in having jobs whether part-time or full-time. College, in turn, is expensive. Students need money to study leading most of them to work and for some to drop out and work instead. Another top reason is because of failing, also known as academic disqualification.
In that moment each company and business can has the high possibility to face with bankruptcy. The solution to this problem is to reduce the number of employees and production; which the results are the loss of jobs of many people and a high unemployment rate among citizens. This creates poverty among people which then leads to homelessness. Geddes Carol ( )

Men in unskilled jobs and low-paid jobs are most vulnerable to unemployment and women would make up the vast majority of part-time and low-paid jobs while trying to afford the high rise in childcare costs. For people in low paid jobs and unskilled jobs it becomes very difficult to maintain their
That’s a third of the average annual salary. Hard earned money that would otherwise be used to pay bills, pay off the mortgage or take holidays with the kids. But it’s not just about the money. It’s the harm to themselves and their family. Problem gamblers suffer mental and physical health problems, find it difficult to hold down a job, and struggle to maintain relationships.
