Social media o young people Technology has become so evolve in a way that social media has become a part of life. Now-a-days it’s like we can’t live without connection to some sort of social media. When it comes to these sites there are many positive aspects but there are equally as many dangers that come with the use of sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace, but our now-a-days our young people has use social media sites for bad reason in this 21st century. So Social media can be a good and bad thing to our young people, it depends on how they use it and what they use it for. Social media sites such as Facebook and MySpace can also be a great tool for professionals, both helping to market skills of some small business owner and also find business opportunities; and so on if there is a job opportunity being offered on those sites a person would be able to see or someone seeing it and refer someone else to the job. Facebook is also a great way to help reunite friend from school, camps, etc. and even family members who is overseas and you haven’t heard from them for a while. But Facebook, twitter, and MySpace etc. is really a great way for artiste and produces to get their music out in the public; because people have become so in tune with those sites. On the other side which is the bad side of social media. There are many risks involved with the social media and the internet in general. One of the risks that is most highlighted by today’s media is cyber bullying; over the internet, which mostly occurs on social media sites, such as Facebook. Another fact about young people and the internet is that they are too open and public with personal information. They don’t read the privacy policy to know what not to post on those sites. Young adult now-a-days love to talk to stranger for their looks and sharing personal information as well, without knowing
