How has social media invaded our privacy rights?

The dictionary defines privacy as "a state in which one is not observed or disturbed by others". At a very young age in life people develop a right to express privacy. Children and Teenagers lock themselves away from their parents in order to get privacy for whatever reason they may feel necessary. However, when media practitioners possess the function of gathering, processing and distributing news items to a large audience which often times are not done with sound moral judgment in mind. Celebrities, politicians and employees are no longer free from media publications. In order to keep information private we need to find a solution to better prepare ourselves from this media invasion. Many might ask how do we stop this madness? There are many ways to help keep your private life and information to remain private. Here are a few ways to prevent the media invasions.
Step 1: Email
  1) Always create a separate email for professional use or take advantage of your university of phoenix alumni email service.
  2) Checking more than one email may sound like an overwhelming but with email forwarding and multiple account access, it can be fairly easy. Which can help you decrease the social media prowling to a minimum?
If you use Gmail, it’s as simple as creating a new account, setting up a forwarding system in your new account, and then going back to your main account and associating the accounts so you can send mail from your new professional email. At the end of the day, it’s much better if your potential employer goggles "john.doe67@gmail.com" and finds nothing than if they Google "raddoeboy@gmail.com" and find your personal email in the members list of "Pornhub.com".
Step 2: Facebook
