There are many reasons to worry about it. This social media is hurting our society in such way that it causing harm to one’s privacy, it disseminates misinformation, and effect on student’s grade. It is clear that social media is hurting our society by putting one’s privacy and security at risk. In the article “Teens Privacy Is Threatened by Social Networking” author Peter Bazalgette said, “Can you truly delete entries from social networking sites with the confidence they no longer exist on a server somewhere? You cannot” (Bazalgette p.1).
Throughout the book depression is a big issue for Holden. It has also become an issue for American teenagers. Depression brings up the thought of suicide, which also seems to be a problem with American teens. A number of times throughout the book Holden has even said how depressing certain situations where. Divorce “ Teenagers in Trouble” Stress is basically defined as an applied force to strain a body; a mentally or emotionally upsetting condition occurring in response to adverse external influences and capable of affecting physical health. Teenagers now days have had a lot of stress because of a lot of different reasons. However, the main things in my opinion that cause stress for teenagers are peer pressure and more importantly family problems(for example: divorce). Such stresses put teenagers in problems where they make life decisions that can be very risky. Many books were interesting regarding child stress but particularly “The Romance of Risk” by Dr. proton was very amazing.

Cyber bullying can have a longer lasting effect on the victim. It can be humiliating due to the fact that it has a bigger audience opposed to the kids on the playground. There are many warning signs that could indicate that someone is involved in bullying. Some of the signs include the following; they come home with damaged or missing clothing, they have thing such as electronics and jewelry come up lost, and they have unexplained injuries and complain frequently of feeling sick. They can hurt themselves, and they can lose interest in school, friends and activities that they used to enjoy.
