Multiple victims who are hurt from being bullied are starting to fail in school. There are many effects on bullying and some samples are thinking about suicide, scared of coming to school, and beginning to not care about school. The director is trying to show how difficult it is for young people to get out of the never ending circle of gun crime. The message of the film is anti gun crime, trying to show young people living in the poorer communities who are more vulnerable to violence or gun crime will sooner or later pay the price unless they have the strength that Ricky didn’t have in-order to step out. Gun crime is often made into a big fuss by the media and glamorised as such. It is important that violence and gun crime are talked about in films and that young people are made to see the real side of it, because people are getting killed often in events where youths are carrying guns, this often appears on the news.
It’s sad to see such tragedy happen in places such as schools a place where us as students is suppose to feel safe as in a home away from home and is now a place of fear. Nowadays students go to school not knowing if their going to make it home safe. This just goes to shoes the effect that a gun has on certain individuals, for some it can change their lives drastically in a second. Some learn from their mistakes and some don’t and the ones who don’t learn anything are the ones who have a problem mentally. Statistics have shown that the violence among young people is increasing every year. Many people blame musicians and other types of artists who portray negative actions as something positive. Others might blame the parents for not watching over their children. But many people fall short to bring up technology as an issue. With the new DVD that shows sex and violence or computers that gives kids access to unauthorized sites, technology is something that many parents need to look out for.
Such behaviors can be seen every day in athletic events or in political topics such as homo-sexuality. In each motivation, there can be factors that cause these actions as well as the need to fit into a certain group. Fear of losing friends, family and fans is also a shared factor of the two. In athletics it could also be an individual’s effort to seek praise or idolization. These factors are created or exist with the mental or physical presence of others, and with these factors creates stories of extraordinary performances, failed success stories, stories of heart break and stories of acceptance.
