This restaurant was only three hundred and eighty four square feet of space; however by having such a limited amount of space Cathy was able to keep cost down. Cathy opened this restaurant for seventeen thousand dollars an amount that was far less than he anticipated. Opening restaurants in malls Cathy concluded was a way to get more selling capacity per dollar (Fame, 2005). The menu for the restaurant was simple, it consisted of five items; boneless chicken breast sandwich, potato fries, coleslaw, lemon pie, and lemonade. Over the course of years new items would be added to the menu; however the original Chick-fil-A sandwich would always be the leading sandwich.

I make pumpkin bread on occasion or have been buying fruit newton crisps for when I have a sweet
To help support his claim, Bittman uses many different rhetorical devices in his article. He begins his article by giving the reader a few statistics about the cost of fast food nowadays at major restaurants such as MacDonald’s. “Two Big Macs, a cheeseburger, six chicken McNuggets, two medium and two small fries, and two medium and two small sodas — costs, at the McDonald’s a hundred steps from where I write, about $28. You can serve a roasted chicken with vegetables along with a simple salad and milk for about $14, and feed four or even six people,” (Bittman 1). He continues by saying that people also may say that fast food is cheaper when measured by the calorie but when half of the people in this country consume too many calories rather than too few, measuring food’s cost by the calorie makes no sense.
Not only have their menu remained the same but so have their suppliers. They have been getting their beef from the same supplier for more years than Murrel can actually remember, and use Idaho potatoes instead of faster-growing cheaper potatoes from Florida and California (Melnick, 2011). Socially they set out to continually provide customers with their fresh made to order burgers and fries along with fresh add-on items like jalapenos and onions to name a few. Five Guys focuses on using their money to produce high quality food and still till this day do not advertise. Instead the company uses the money that would go to advertising to encourage employees to be courteous, clean, and proficient and food preparation.

Spurlock shows images of overweight people at the beach, sitting at tables eating, walking around, employees working at fast food restaurants and the people who are interviewed on the street. These images are effective in sparking a conversation on obesity because they show the epidemic in reality instead of just talking about it. It is
For breakfast I could have potato chips, a couple slices of bread with butter, and other processed snacks, for lunch I would have a baconator at Wendy’s, with a small fry, and a small soda, then for dinner I would eat whatever is at home. I used to eat lunch at 4pm and dinner at ten pm. Six months ago when I started dieting I ate earlier, lunch at2pm and dinner at 7. I also have in between snacks like carrots, apples, veggies, or cheese. I also ate full fat cheese
