Government should not be able to make personal decisions for society because it disrupts lifestyles and ultimately does not benefit people.
Should smokers be prevented from smoking in their own homes or in their cars when children or any other non-smoker is present? Why or why not? I cannot speak for others but I feel like smoking should be an outdoor thing. Keeping non-smokers from smoke exposure would be a good thing. Children when they are small do not know the difference between smoking or not and if they do they are not aware of the health risks and how really bad smoking and secondhand smoke can be.
Some smokers feel as if they may not be able to do anything without take at least one cigarette before any event. Others may believe that smoking is more of a stress reliever or believe that it decelerates traumatic situations. Allowing smoking on our beaches also steer tourists away, and with this type of economy Walton County cannot afford to lose any tourists. There can be numerous solutions to cancelling smoking on the beaches of Walton. To fix the smoking issue there could be no smoking signs posted throughout the boardwalks. The cities could provide classy trashcans that would blend in with the rest of the beach and communities.
