They had made it the first ride you see in the amusement park. My heart started racing, my hands were shaking and my legs felt like jello. The Cubby Bear is an everyday sports bar until the game arrives. Then, the spacious building, wallpapered in Cubs jerseys and old photographs, becomes alive with fans, scalpers, and tourists. The pre-game show is on every television in the bar, beer is tumbling out of the taps, and everyone is friends with everyone. These amusing rides attract all different types of people. Its trilling nature what makes rollercoasters the main attraction at most amusement parks. Most rollercoasters are known as big thriller rides, and are many fans’ favorites. People from near and far visit Six Flags for the sole purpose of getting a chance of riding these high flying attractions. Lines are usually very long for high intensity rides, but the anticipation that is created waiting in lines are a thrill itself.
I forget how many levels of the ship there were, but it seemed like a lot because by the time we got to the top it seemed like we had been walking through it forever. Getting to the top was pretty cool because they had a lot of old jet planes up there and we were able to sit in some of them and take pictures. At the end of the day, I remember being very worn out from all the walking around. After all the nice, fun, and relaxing days in California our weekend vacation came to end and we all had to head back to Arizona. Keep in mind, we are still driving the minivan until we reach Yuma again and can pick up the SUV that was being worked on.
