University of Phoenix Material Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet Part 1 For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions. Physical health: My body size and shape could be better if I followed a daily workout routine, which would probably lead to better health. Social health: I am completely satisfied with my relationships and interactions with others, I tend to get along with anyone. Intellectual health: My intellectual health has probably suffered a bit due to several years of not doing anything that was really intellectually stimulating. Environmental health: I'm not sure I exactly understand how environmental issues relate to individual health, but I believe recycling on an individual level to be a waste of time. Emotional health: I think my emotional health is fine, though I do not tend to express my motions very often. I have plenty of self esteem and confidence, but I trust no one. Spiritual health: I think it is BS that this is considered a part of an individual's overall health. My opinions on this subject are a bit too strong to fully explain at this time. Part 2 In approximately 125 to 200 words, describe health and wellness in your own words using the ideas and concepts for each of the six dimensions of health. Individual health and wellness in my opinion only encompasses four of the six listed dimensions of health. I agree with the idea that physical, emotional, intellectual, and social health play a big role in an individual's overall health. I believe the concept of physical health is fairly obvious and mostly independent of the other
