Single-Sex Schools Most kids love to go to public school because of many reasons. Most of them like to go for friends or girls and boys like to go for the opposite sex. Is that really what school is for? Many people like to believe that single sex schools will help the kids’ education, but the question is will it? As children get old they start to gain feelings for the opposite sex and start to lose focus. Maybe single sex schools will help solve these problems. Single sex education has its pros and cons. Many people would agree that single sex schools are a bad decision, because of many reasons. Single sex schools promote an impractical future. They teach kids the wrong thing about the future. They don’t prepare them for the future with the opposite sex. When children are in public schools they get the chance to interact with the opposite sex, but when they are at a private school they don’t have a clue or the chance to interact with the opposite sex. It could make kids anti-social to the opposite sex for then and the future. With them getting used to their surroundings when they are younger, that will be the only thing they will be taught so they wouldn’t know how to deal or act around each other. Single sex education is teaching the kids and preparing them for an impractical idea of their future life. Single sex schools are normally known as “private schools.” Now a days private schools cost money to go too. Some families are too poor or don’t have enough money to pay the expenses that are required to going to a private school. Most private schools have uniforms, which are also very costly. Why waste so much money to go to a private school when a public school offers the same courses and curriculum? Parents waste so much and too much money on something they can get for free. Studies show that there is no difference between public and private schools. They
