The ‘Battle for Work’ scheme that was set up to reduce unemployment was successful in ways that it fell from 25.9% in 1933 to 7.4% in 1936. This was great for Germans however it did create some issues as Germany’s ‘secret rearmament’ scheme was bringing in too much imported raw materials into Germany whilst exporters were struggling due to taxes on imports and this left Germany with a big trade deficit.

Many Germans had turned to the Nazis because they had feared communism and sought a way out of the economic crisis, not because they supported the Nazi ideology. When Hitler and the Nazis achieved absolute power by early August 1934, their main goals were to Nazify the German people, improve the economy (with their National Socialistic ideals), and overall maintain absolute power within Germany, while pursuing their radical ideologies.

Goebbles Goebbels was Hitlers Minister for Propaganda, he was definitely one of the most influential people in Nazi Germany as it was up to him to ensure that the nation was gripped by Hitlers cult of personality, which I personally think Goebbels was more than partly responsible for creating. Goebbels used many means in order to create the personality cult which is credited for keeping Hitlers third reich united.
Hitler displayed ultranationalism when he put Social Darwinism into action, he was creating a master race. Hitler believed in survival of the fittest; he eliminated people who didn't meet the ethnic idea. Lebensraum and Social Darwinism were both indications of ultranationalism that Germany displayed, that ultimately lead to the cause of the second world war.
