Silver Linings Playbook Life does not always go as planned. Silver Linings Playbook was a movie that proved that. In the movie, Pat had lost everything, his job, his house and even his wife, which led him to moving back in with his mother and father after spending some time in a state institution on a plea bargain. Pat was determined to rebuild his life, always remain positive, and to reunite with his wife, even though there were challenging circumstances of their separation. All Pat’s parent’s want is for him to love/be obsessed with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany, who was a mysterious girl with her own problems, things started to get complicated. Tiffany offers to help Pat reconnect with this wife, but only if he would enter a dance competition with her. As their deal plays out, an unexpected bond begins to form between them. In the movie, Pat dealt with bipolar disorder, and his father in a way seemed like he struggled with obsessive-compulsive disorder. He was also obsessed with gambling. In the movie we see Pat denying the fact that he has bipolar disorder, which is a common symptom when it comes to bipolar disorder. Pat was a complex character that had been traumatized by an experience in his life and throughout the movie we’re able to see how he was eventually able to move on and find a new relationship. Bipolar disorder is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks. Symptoms of bipolar disorder are severe. They are different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through from time to time. Bipolar disorder symptoms can result in damaged relationships, poor school or job performance, and even suicide. But bipolar disorder can be treated, and people with this illness can lead full and productive lives. This movie was very
