Born a royal prince in Nepal in 623 B.C., Siddhartha’s early life was filled with endless luxury. His father, King Shuddodana sheltered him from witnessing any suffering that occurred beyond the palace. Shortly after marriage when he was 16 years old, Siddhartha grew bored and curious about the world he had never experienced before, the commonplace. On the first three trips, he saw, sickness, old age and death. On the last day, he saw a monk who had sacrificed everything he had to seek an end to suffering.
As all of the noble ladies of her time, she was taught how to dance properly and taught eloquence on how to express herself when in attendance to nobles and other important figures. When Lucrezia was only ten years old, she had an arranged marriage with a Spaniard whom later Rodrigo Borgia ended. Two months after the annulment he promised Lucrezia to another man though the contract was annulled on the eighth of November 1492. Finally her father made up his mind and Lucrezia’s third betrothal later became her first husband, Giovanni Sforza. The King of Naples did not want this marriage to go through, so he offered Lucrezia the son of the Duke of Calabria.
Siddhartha Gautama was raised Hindu and believed in reincarnation. Gautama married young and when he had a son he had four visions that inspired him to find a spiritual solution to stop human suffering. Siddhartha left his family to solve the four visions. Siddhartha first tried meditation, but it couldn’t last forever. After trying meditation, he joined a Brahmanism group where he learned breath control and fasting.
It wasn’t until the prince was thirty that he took the first step that led to his becoming the Buddha, one of the world’s greatest spiritual leaders. One day, prince Siddhartha expressed the desire to leave his lush surroundings and ride out
It was in the early 50’s where he first began entwined with the mob. The mob was on a turning point in the early 50’s. Though he never took part in any mob activities, he still gathered money from family that did. He never did any mob dealings because he felt that if he ever needed to gain money or possessions, he would gain them for the benefit of others. “This is my personal favorite characteristic of him, and most likely the smartest decision he ever made in his life.” States my Aunt Jenny about the mobster deals that Da’dooch turns down.

In this story Panttaja says it is both mothers that are wicked. Panttaja states the real mother “plots and schemes, and she wins” (Panttaja 660) when it comes to fulfilling the wishes of Ashputtle. But actually the two mothers have the same goal in mind; to have their daughters married off and have a joyful life. To be able to do this, the real mother puts a charm on the prince to make him fall in love with Ashputtle instead of anyone else. The prince did not dance with anyone else all night and would always say “she is my partner” (Grimm 630).

Siddhartha Gautama was born an Indian Prince, he renounced wealth and family to become an asce:c, and aCer having achieved enlightenment while medita:ng, eventually taught all who came to learn from him. In Herman Hesse’s novel, Siddhartha -‐ also the name of the main character -‐ the young protagonist comes from a humble Brahmin’s son always thirs:ng for more reason and insight in his life, and from there on endures different transi:ons that eventually lead him to rediscovering himself. The personality that Hesse gives Siddhartha, exemplifies the keen feeling that everybody has inside of them. It can be said that he stood for individualism, hunger and above all, the insa:able feelings that many, if not all people eventually manage to answer.

It now stands as the forth-largest religion in the world. Buddhists believe in the Four Noble Truths and the 8 Fold Path.
