Researching, Selecting and Shadowing a Mentor By: M302-01 Organizational Behavior In my career, there will be many times where I will benefit for the knowledge of those who have served in my profession previously and the experience from those who are currently seasoned in the practice of law. By doing this, I can avoid many rookie mistakes and career pitfalls, that without guidance, I wouldn’t otherwise recognize. Why reinvent the wheel? This is the value of job shadowing and utilizing a mentor. When I am looking at my options for a shadowing mentor, there are several things that I need to consider: What type of law will I practice?
The plan consists of licensing and specialty licensing using a minimum level of education, continuing legal education courses, requirements for experience, and standards of ethics and character. The NFPA advocates the continued expansion of the profession, which may allow for the future practice of paralegals in areas that are now reserved only for lawyers but they realize that the licensing of paralegals is complex. The NFPA and the NALA have offered an alternative solution to the licensing of paralegals, which are certification and registration. Both of these offer recognition of the paralegals’ qualification, training and education. 7.
Nurse vs. Police Officer What is the difference in becoming a nurse versus becoming a police officer? In this paper I will be exploring the differences in not only what it takes to become either a nurse or police officer but also what is required of them once they have reached entry level to continue in the field. The first profession I will explore is nursing. The first step in becoming a nurse is getting accepted into college and completing all of the general education and prerequisite classes that are required to get into a nursing program. Once you have all of that done you must apply to a nursing program and wait to be accepted in.
The purpose of this proposal memorandum is to help inform students the requirements needed to even be acceptable into law school, and the requirements needed to have a successful career in the Sports Entertainment
Introduction In this paper, I will be evaluating the article written by Allison Stimach, “A Look at College Marriages: Why Students Should Wait” p. 58 in Writing Arguments. I will be evaluating this article to find if it is a good example of a strong argument to put in the college textbook, Writing Arguments. I will be deciding if this article will teach future students what it takes to write a quality argument. In this article, Stimach argued why college students should wait to get married in college. I believe Stimach’s essay followed the criteria of a successful argument by persuading me with strong details throughout the entirety of the argument.

Adding paralegals to your staff can be a real asset to your law practice because of the legal knowledge a paralegal brings to the job. “Paralegals can improve the efficiency and profitability of a law office because paralegals can literally perform most of the same tasks attorneys perform – but, at reduced rates and reduced salaries. Since paralegals can perform substantive legal tasks at reduced rates, some firms are using paralegals to reduce the cost of legal services to clients and thereby attract more clientele. And since hiring a paralegal is less costly in terms of salary and benefits than hiring a new attorney, firms can increase their staff and their productivity at lower costs.” (Cook,

The conventions of college writing are very complex and if professors are more helpful and patient with first year students as they learn academic discourse, students will be better prepared for all future academic endeavors and they will have a better opportunity to strengthen and develop their voice. David Bartholomae, author of Inventing the University, is a professor who writes about the struggles that students face with transitioning into college level writing and learning to write with authority in academic discourse, all while maintaining a unique voice. I agree with Bartholomae’s views on the subject and his arguments are very valid because he speaks from the status and
A good foundation must be well constructed. It must be adaptable to changes in its environment as well as sturdy enough to withstand forces that try to knock it down. It 1787, the great foundation of our country was built: the Constitution of the United States of America. However, as great as it was, a foundation cannot support itself forever, it is the job of the people using it to keep it standing.
