Be a good friend, come to there sporting events, help them fulfill there dreams. But when they're doing something illegally wrong, you should not support them at all cause then you will have to suffer the consequences as well. An example about that would be drug dealing. Suicide, very common in teens. Of course you shouldn't support your friend in suicide unless your apathetic like them...then your both screwed. When you hear a very close friend or even an acquaintance talk about suicide it can be a real distressful, disturbing, and pretty upsetting. You may want to stay by there side and give them all the support and help they need to prevent suicide. You should also help them find professional help. Another warning, certainly not everyone who has thoughts of suicide or talks about suicide actually attempts it. But most people who take their own life have expressed their intention at some time. That's why it's important to take any talk or threat of suicide seriously, especially when someone has depression or another mental disorder, is intoxicated, or is behaving impulsively or recklessly. No joke. While it may not be possible to prevent all suicides, your active involvement may make a difference in saving a life. Even a little "I care about you" or "I love you" will make a big difference. Unprotected sex, teen drinking, vandalism, stealing, ect. Hence, supporting a friend is a very big thing in a very good friendship nonetheless you have to watch what your supporting. Ask yourself, is it healthy? is it apporpiate? Will it help me succeed in life? and also...would my parents approve of it?
