People often need to face culture differences when they travel abroad. Some people think that visitors should follow local cultures so that they can get along well with local people and experience the cultures. Others argue that visitors help the economy of the country they visit so the host country should open to visitors’ culture. In my opinion, visitors and host country should respect each other and find a balance to integrate culture differences. Visitors should respect local customs and behavior as they need to get along with local people harmoniously. Before traveling visitors should learn about local customs and behavior so that they can get to know the culture and avoid offending local people. For example, when people travel to an Arabian country, they should absorb information about the Arabian’s religion beliefs and dressing habits. Otherwise, they may do something unacceptable for local people. Also, many people travel to a foreign country because they are interested in the culture or want to experience new things. The best way to experience life in another country is to see how local people live and behave. On the other hand, local people should welcome visitors’ culture differences because visitors help the development of economy and they increase the variety of cultures. Many countries rely on the income of tourism as visitors spend a lot of money on accommodation, transport, and tickets for tourist attractions. Being open to visitors’ cultures is a good way for local people to show their respect and hospitability. They also should understand that it is difficult to change culture identity in a short time.
