So people in committed relationships should still practice safe sex, you’ll never know what can happen and it’s always better to be on the safe side. Practicing safe sex not only prevents you from getting any kind of diseases, but it also reduces your chance of getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant. Being pregnant at a very young age can possibly hurt one’s future, it could cause you to drop out of school and find an instant job just to support the baby. As good and fun sex can be, being safe means highly protected and less chance to have any problems. No one wants to get an abortion and kill a child if they don’t want to keep their pregnancy.
Adoption in my opinion should just be illegal in every state because you are just taking a harmless baby's life for no reason, the baby didn't ask you to make it. If you know you that you don't want to have a baby you should make sure that you have a condom on, to be safe because you might have gotten lucky a few time's of having unprotected sex but it will eventually catch up with you and get you pregnant and get you in a situation that you don't wanna be in. I don't think someone at a young age wants to be in a situation like that so they don't have to make such a hard decision in your life, because the
You could always have the baby and give it up for adoption. Also, there are medical procedures that can prevent from getting pregnant when raped. Another reason is that they think that abortion is not used as contraception. Many individuals use protection against getting pregnant, but learning your menstrual cycle to know when you’re ovulating and taking care of yourself can prevent a pregnancy. A pregnancy does cause stress.
As it stands right now, I believe that a minor should have parental consent when having any medical procedure done including abortion, however by the time I finish this assignment is it possible that I could be persuaded to lean in the other direction? In favor of non parental consent: 1. Rape or incest would be a main reason why abortion without parental consent is acceptable. 2. Dangers of back alley abortions are another reason because we definitely do not want our children to find illegal ways to get an abortion simply because they are afraid to tell their parents.
I believe that young teenagers should be on birth control to help resolve this problem. This is where their parents should step in and take action to prevent teen pregnancy. I believe that mature women should not be able to get an abortion just because of personal preference . it was their choice to have sex like a mature adult but when the consequence comes they want to just get rid of it. When a women is financially, mentally, and physically ready for a child and they don’t want it because they just don’t feel like careing for a child that’s wrong and I strongly agree it should be against the law.
They feel sexual education would teach their children that they would have wait until marriage to have sex. Many of these parents do not feel comfortable with the idea of their child being subjected to spiritual welfare. (Opposing par. 3) They feel like they do not want their kids think their physical actions are connected to their spiritual actions. They want their children to be taught that their body is completely separate from their spirit.
It could be because of rape or just because they do not want to have children at all. In cases where the pregnancy is unwanted the mother sometimes will decide to have an abortion, but abortion is definitely not the answer. No one should ever have the right to tell a woman what they can or cannot do with their bodies but these unborn babies are more than just the woman’s right to do what they want with their bodies, they are a human life. Unborn babies, even at the beginning of a pregnancy, are still a human life, just like you are, and it is illegal for someone to kill you or take the life of another so how can anyone believe that abortion is right. Abortion can cause a lot of physical, emotional, and psychological problems later on in life for the women who have had one, and they do not realize all of these consequences when making a quick decision to abort the pregnancy.
Should children at risk for late-onset disorders (such as Huntington’s disease) be genetically tested at the request of their parents? While many parents would say yes, there is in fact a very good case against early disclosure. It violates the child’s rights to an open future. All children should have the opportunities to live their lives the way they choose. Testing positive for a disease would restrict these opportunities.
The case of David Reimer highlights many of these issues and helps explain why they need to be addressed fully. A child does not have the ability to make an informed decision on their gender and the decision is passed to the parents. The parents would be thoroughly briefed before deciding on the gender they wish their child to be changed to, suggesting it is somewhat ethical as parents hold responsibility over the child so have made a informed decision and consent. However, as David Reimer showed, the decision of the parents is not always right and can cause great problems in later life when the child grows up and realises who they are. It is also evident that in some cases parents would be deceived.
When there is an unplanned pregnancy, teens are scared, and unsure as what to do. When abortion is considered it is a choice normally influenced by where she lives, beliefs, friends, fear of telling parents, abuse, if there are any places for teens to go for pregnancy, and even situations involving the pregnancy. Abortion is a tough subject for many. I myself do not believe in having an abortion, but that does not mean I’m against others in having the choice. There are places teens can go to get help in whatever they decide to do.
