Being right on the river that runs through downtown Pittsburgh, your walk to Buca is a beautiful scene of the skyline of the city. This location makes the perfect location for a family picture. Once you step foot in this 2-floor restaurant, the first thing you notice are the thousands of vintage pictures that cover every wall in the building. In fact, every room in Buca di Beppo has a different theme for how it is decorated. Every Buca restaurant across the country also has a Pope table and kitchen table.
The journey from New York to Chicago were we are settled now was filled with anticipation. My father was worrisome that he would not find work right away however, a man on the train told him about work in the meat packinghouses there. The Days were long ten hours or more, and the pay was little for the hard work, only three hundred and twenty five dollars a year. ENGL 1311 16 September 2013 “The River” It was a hot day to be on the Guadalupe River for Memorial Day weekend. My family and I loaded up the truck, filled the cooler with cold drinks, packed our swim suits, and headed out. The water seemed warm, you could smell the burgers on the grill, kids were playing and the sun was blazing. You can say it was a perfect time to be out with the family enjoying each other’s company. The river is about 230 mi long.

His pork chop tasted no different from his whipped cream and jello. He was too busy thinking about how to siege the fort by the river.
He just slammed it over and over out of the park. One day after a big game he went out to celebrate with his couch, who was imaginary of course because Don Jenkins was a one man team. He stopped at the local market to pick up his cottage cheese fix for the night. He grabbed 5 litres, more than he had ever eaten in one sitting. Needless to say, it was going to be a big night.
Spurlock shows images of overweight people at the beach, sitting at tables eating, walking around, employees working at fast food restaurants and the people who are interviewed on the street. These images are effective in sparking a conversation on obesity because they show the epidemic in reality instead of just talking about it. It is almost painful to watch these people go about their daily lives. These pictures demonstrate what the viewers of the documentary could look like if they keep consuming food provided by these fast food
Justin Webb October 21st 2012 Professor Olsen English 1113 Second Chance The story starts off on a bright blue skied sunny day in the pacific northwest, its Thanksgiving day and the plan was to go up to Grandma’s house which is approximately 35 minutes up the Washougal river road in Washougal Washington. In my car it was three of my best friends and I these aren’t just your ordinary friends they were my family. The friends I’ve grown up with, went on vacations with and was always with them 24/7. We load up the civie, my car, the classic 2004 red Honda civic that everyone seems to get for his or her first car. We set off on our adventure and as always we are blasting music being kids driving up the long windy scenic drive that the Washougal river road is.
Matthew Willis DEVE 0880-105A People come from all over the country to see all the magnificent floats driving by and throwing beads and stuffed animals to people shouting the loudest. Then when it’s over people have barbeques outside Where the floats just passed by, people cook chicken, hotdogs, ribs, and much more. Finally when everyone is done they go home with bags full of beads and stuffed animals and see how much they have and maybe throw some next year. Mardi Gras has been a tradition in Louisiana for many years. There are a lot of floats that pass by on Mardi Gras.
Starting in the North end of the county with the Kampsville Landing, walking into this restaurant you can smell the lip smacking Onion Flowers being cooked up to perfection. Even though there is six restaurants in Hardin to pick from we are only going to focus on one of them. Walk in to Straight Home Bar & Grill and you will never want to leave. The feeling that most people have during their meal is amazing, they feel like they are to home eating. The number one item on the menu has to be the steak if you don’t like meat don’t worry there is tons of other items to pick from.

I am originally from Georgia where we have an abundance of tall trees, green grass, lakes, rivers, and woods to stroll in on a daily basis. New Mexico is a very beautiful place if you give it time to grow on you. After living here for seven years I have come to call it home, whether I like the idea of it or not it has become a reality for me. One of the best scenery spots that my family and I have come to enjoy would be Sandia Crest.
