Falling By Ally Halverson As most people know September 11, 2001 holds the tragic event that effected many people. Families lost their relatives, men and women lost their spouses, children lost their parents, and hundreds of others lost their life during this time. Some people might wonder what the point of view from someone that did die in 9/11 might be, well this story will give several examples of different peoples point of view, from people in the Twin Towers to one of the firefighters saving the people. ~~~ It was a normal Tuesday for Alicia; she woke up, got dressed, brushed her teeth, ate breakfast, said her goodbyes to her children, and gave her husband a kiss on the cheek. “Bye everyone! There is one difference between the others and Jason. Jason’s a firefighter. Later that exact morning he would be rushing down to the Twin Towers. “Ok bye sweet heart! Be good for mommy this morning!” He told his youngest daughter Amelia, who had just turned 4 last month. As Jason walked to work he could smell the fresh autumn weather, and he could see the beautiful orange, red, and yellow leaves scattered upon the ground. He quickly went into his favorite frozen yogurt place to grab some breakfast. He finally got to work at about 8:35 a.m. “Ah, good morning Jason!” said the chief firefighter. Everyone there was like his family, they spend all day everyday together. Jason was just finishing his breakfast at 8:45 when the first plane hit. The fire station was about a mile away so they didn’t know what had just happened. Most of them assumed a thunder storm was coming, but about a minute later when they got an emergency call they all knew what happened. The Twin Towers got hit. Jason and everyone else rushed into the fire trucks and started getting dressed. Jason knew that what he was about to encounter would be very hard to survive. Right now all he could hear were the loud, screeching sounds of the truck sirens. By the time they got to the tower it was already 9 o’clock a.m. Smoke was running out of the tower. By the time she was out the door it was already 8 a.m. The sun was barely up but she decided it was perfect for walking. She walked around her block, which was one of the few more peaceful neighborhoods. She heard birds chirping in the trees and the clouds were white and fluffy. She got around to the Twin Towers, and stopped to admire its detail. As she was standing there she decided to go inside to get a drink. She had to go up a couple of levels though because everything had lines. When she was at about the 5th level she felt a small shake. Since the plane had hit so far up she didn’t get too scared. Then she heard frantic screams coming from everywhere so she started to head to the elevator but it was packed. So she started jogging to the stairs. Then she could feel more shaking so she started running. When she had finally gotten out of the building she started sprinting to her house. The cloud of dust wasn’t far behind
