When I have free time and friends need help with their homework, I would volunteer to help them during lunch. My best subject is in math and it’s also my favorite subject. On my sixth grade CST scores, in math, was 600 out of 600. I believe I am more than capable to be in Honors Algebra 2. Everyone has dreams.

Embedded Assessment 1 I would like to introduce my mom, Cathy Patterson. She’s a molecular biologist, and went to Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. I enjoyed getting to interview her because it let me get to know my mom a bit more, and made me realize what I have to do to do well in high school. To start off with, I asked her if she liked high school, and asked her to explain why or why not. She said that she had enjoyed being at high school, because she loved learning, and she got to hang out with her friends a lot.
In the fall of 2010 I left BRCC with a degree in Liberal Arts and certificate in general studies. I am in my third semester at Southern and I am enjoying every minute and I could not be more proud of this institution despite what’s been said or what’s going on. After I receive my bachelors’ degree in Psychology and get certified in Health & Physical Education & Adapted Physical Education, I plan on getting my masters in Supervision and Administration. I chose teacher education program at Southern because of the quality teachers that have came through the SUBR teacher education program. I currently work with children with disability in the Zachary Community School System and love every minute because you get an opportunity to reach out to children who never really had chance and to be able to give them a chance is very rewarding.
Parents often expect their children to go to a good school and getting high education. It actually was not hard for the youth since we got used to the expectations, and we did not have advanced technology back then. Then things changed, I moved to America where people had everything i could imagine. I got my very first laptop from my mom for my birthday. Soon after, I started making friends in high school and learned to communicate with them via E-mail, Yahoo, Facebook etc.
I wanted to have some fun so I said let's do it. And she was all over me calling me her daughter and telling me to go to sleep, or go to school, read my lessons, watch cartoons, pretending to go buy me something to eat and even went finding a dad for me. McKinney (2009) stated "Imitating and acting out scenes of everyday life are common as the toddler begins to try out roles and identify with adults." But it was absolute fun. As i was talking to these kids and playing games with them.
The Political Science program even helped me succeed in my schools AP course because it prepared me for future topics that I would eventually learn and most importantly the AP exam. Throughout the year I kept completing all the intricate assignments and by doing so I feel that challenging myself has benefited me for the future that awaits me. Before AP History I felt unaccomplished and that school was too easy. I used to complete my assignments and feel spiritless. The course made me realize that college wouldn't be cinch.
During those six weeks I worked on material that helped me get ready for the next grade. For example last summer I took am math class called “Algebra 2, which happens to be a class I knew I would struggle with since math isn’t a subject I’m good at, with the help from the ConnCAP staff they helped me better understand what I was learning by offering me extra help after class and worked with me one on one”. So when school started in the fall I was always ahead of my classmates. I did multiple power points and projects, I learned how to speak in front large crowds professionally and know what to do and what not to do, which would help me in college and in my career. At the end of the six weeks I was required to participate and complete an “End of the program

Quanisha Burgess Competency Statement V ( To Ensure a well-run purposeful program that is responsible to participate need ) I Believe that my teaching practice meet this standard in many ways. However one teaching method that I think is important is communicating with the child, I observed what the child does and say , by documents and keeping a file on each child in my class for instance I use my observation tool to see the learning levels for each child in my class, The observation tool helps me to learn the children in my class. I have been a teacher for over ten years and have used the same method, I find it much easier to communicate one on one with the child instead of in
