Sherlock Holmes Sherlock Holmes is a really good and fantastic movie. The less I thought about Sherlock Holmes, the more I liked the movie. What could be the first impression? It impresses people immediately, on the very beginning. Why the movie is effecting the audience so much? It’s because of the really good opening sequence. It is full of action. And its rest is going on as it begins. The movie consists of magic but Sherlock Holmes undernines its existence. Usually, in movies that deal with magic, the most important thing is who is stronger and who is going to win the fight. But in Sherlock Holmes, Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson know that magic doesn’t exist and they fight against it using their brains. The movie lasts for 128 minutes and it is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, some startling images and a scene of suggestive material (IMDb 1). In order to explain the movie better, a few key terms must be defined. Plot concerns the organization of the main events of a work of fiction. Cast refers to the actors performing in a film or a play. Story is a sequence of events. Many people think that the movie is not realistic, but I will show you that the movie is realistic because of plot, science and fiction. Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his friend Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) burst in upon the fiendish Satanist Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong) in the act of committing a dastardly act. Blackwood is sent to the gallows and sealed in his tomb. Blackwood said to Sherlock Holmes “Three more will die and there is nothing that you can do to save them. You must accept this is beyond your control”. And “Death is only the beginning”, before he died. After his execution, audience probably thinks that Sherlock and Watson will continue with other adventures. They will fight against some new bad characters. We can see the movie’s plot is
