Statement of the Problem This Case study is about Sexual Harassment a part of Human Resources Function that is to be considered very critical and important. The case study is divided into five parts. Each part is an answer to five questions. Questions Question #1: Read the APPLICATION CASE in pages 63 to 64 on “An Accusation of Sexual Harassment in Pro Sports.” a. Explain whether or not you think Ms. Browne Sanders had the basis for a sexual harassment suit and why? b. Argue whether you think the jury arrived at the correct decision or not. c. Give suggestions on steps Garden management could have taken to protect itself from liability in this matter. d. Explain what you would do now if you were the Garden’s top management. e. Explain the reasons why you agree or disagree with the statement given in question #5. 1 2 In this case study I have answered five questions on a sexual harassment case of Ms Browne Sanders. Sexual is a part of Human Resources function, which is not only very important but also very critical. The answers are based on the lawsuit against a multimillion-dollar company by Ms Sanders. The Jury decided in the favor of Ms Sanders and penalized Garden Management of non-conduct. Throughout this case study I have given out some key points on why I think Jury`s decision was right or wrong. Q, Explain whether or not you think Ms. Browne Sanders had the basis for a sexual harassment suit and why? Ms Browne Sanders had a strong case and reading about the case it does sounds like her case was very strong and considered to be a sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is not necessarily a physical approach but could be verbal abuse also. Severing in front of women co-workers is also considered a sexual harassment. With what is mention in Ms Sanders law suit, Ms Sanders was verbally abuse by her boss, the lawsuit does not
