Ethical Issues in Tourism Industry Abstract Tourism is the business of providing tours and services for tourists. Tourism is a service industry which employs around 2 million people in Britain. In today world tourism has created a great impact on service industry which includes hotels, restaurants, pubs, many people plan their holidays with their families as well as they like to travel to different countries all over the world. The people who are doing business there are going to many places in order to do their business from various places. Tourism is considered to be a great source of revenue for the economy. It is considered to be a great way to employ no of people and provides a mean to raise their standard of living. It is considered to leisure time for many people. Tourism is traveling for recreational as well as leisure and in order to fulfill the purpose of business. The tourism has emerged as a new era with a continuous growth of people’s interest. Gradually the phenomenon of tourism has attracted the entire world in various ways. Tourism is a painless procedure for transfer of real resources from industrially capital surplus developed countries to the low income developing countries. It is considered to be the great source in order to increase foreign exchange of the country. The person who is responsible for management of affairs of nations has almost universally recognized the economic advantage of tourism. This paper presents the ethical issues involved in Tourism industry.
