Knowing that your dogs can detect when something is not right will give you a sense of security; especially when you’re sleeping, home alone or at work. Dogs can be very intimidating and no one wants to get bit by a dog! As a child growing up in the city, I had a German Shepard as a pet who was very protective of our family. If anyone came to the door that he didn’t
Dogs are the best choice because of their loyalty, their unconditional love and they are man’s best friend. Speaking from my own personal experience I have seen a dramatic change in my friend’s personal life because of adopting a dog for her disability needs. Not only are they great service dogs that help the blind, they are great for people with all types of disabilities. When choosing a pet you need to be sure your pet fits into your life style and budget. Most people think that a cat, fish or reptile can be less costly than a dog.
Daddy was Cesar’s first right-hand dog. Since Cesar raised him from four months of age, Daddy was used to being around dogs of all sizes. This exposure and his natural balanced energy made him a perfect candidate for rehabilitating other dogs, particularly those with dog-aggressive issues. Daddy doesn’t react unless he is given a command to react, and his calm-submissive energy is contagious. One of Daddy’s remarkable traits is his extreme tolerance for smaller
I never really knew that dogs could help with some one like me. I thought they were only for the blind. I was unaware of the fact that dogs offer services to people with many different dissabilites. They can be trained to help with people who suffer from physocial dissabilites, Sezure disorders, Blind, deaf, diabedes, those who are unable to get around with out the use of a wheel chair and many other disabilities. After my doctor told me this I decided to research this a little further knowing that I may benefit as well from the use of a service dog.
The goal is giving men , woman, children, independence, freedom to travel safely, dignity. Each person has routines , lifestyle they live each day of there lives. The dogs are trained to keep each person safe. I enjoy working with the blind ,and training Guide Dogs it taught I the patience ,and understanding of others. The joys, the laughter I hear when I’m making someone happy in their lives are complete with there new companion animal going places without guidance of another person.
Not the whole 19 billion is wasted though; there are animals that do have a great chance of surviving and living very long too. The money should go to those animals not the ones who are on the verge of death. Pet owners say they love their pets and would do anything to keep them alive, but some pet owners go too far. My family has 10 years old dog, Gracie. She has been with us for so long we consider her as more than just a pet.
2 Have patience before beginning to train your dog. Golden Retriever is one of the most intelligent dog breeds in the world. Don't be frustrated if he or she doesn't pick up on anything on your first few sessions. Choose a selection of tasty treats. Reserve these treats for your Goldie for when you are training him/her.

I’ve tried to report this family’s neglect about 5 times, but because they leave a bowl and a doghouse out for her, Friday can’t be taken away from them. Does it matter that the bowl is always empty? That her dog houses it too small for her? No. That’s why the laws need to be changed.
But those cute babies soon get bigger and there simply are not enough homes for all of them. According to the H.S.U.S. (The Human Society of the United States), 6-8 million unwanted animals go to shelters every year. These shelters are like prisons for animals, but there is one important difference: many of these prisoners will never get out. Shelters have limited funds and limited space, and they cannot keep all the animals they collect.
