Volunteering at the Egg Harbor Food Bank provided me with a sense of self-accomplishment. At my time at the food bank, I received all of the food donations, weighed them in, and placed them into their appropriate place. Whenever I would see a homeless person on the street that asked for some change, I would always give them the change that I had, but sometimes there would be this nagging thought in the back of my mind if the person was going to use the money for food or for their own illicit purposes. Volunteering at the food bank gave me the self-satisfaction of knowing that my help is going to give someone less fortunate a hot meal.
