I want to be a positive role model to all the young children in our community, and show them that if you set your mind to do it you can achieve anything with hard work and dedication. I also feel this way about being a cheerleader. I feel that a Captain should lead with their heart, not their mouth. I have a vision for my team and we will work together to achieve it. Each year I set goals for myself, and work diligently toward making them become possible.
Pressures for change are constant and result in the need to develop and shape the organization’s capabilities to better enhance organizational outcomes. It is the understanding of the district that great teachers change lives. Research has proved over and over again that teacher effectiveness is the single most important school-based factor influencing student achievement. For this reason, HISD is committed to placing an effective teacher in every classroom. This transformation will take place over the next five years developing, finding and keeping effective and efficient
ESE 315 WEEK 5 JOURNAL POSITION STATEMENT ESE 315 Week 5 Journal Position Statement, As I read the statement in “Early Childhood Inclusion: A Summary”, I came up with the conclusion of what the creation of a sense of belonging and membership, positive relationships and reaching full potential means when working with all young children and families. First, I would make sure that my classroom environment accommodates all my students and the parents feel comfortable with their child in the environment also. Throughout my teaching career and working with all children and families I have discovered that the best therapy a child can have is from their peers, therefore making the classroom environment as confident and warm as possible has always been a key and success for me. I have always had a classroom where all kids were included and this made all my students more peaceful and kind to one another and vey proud in their work and others as well. Since, I have been thinking of different ways of creating environments, seeing children’s strengths, abilities, and communicating with families during this class, I am going to briefly discuss two things I plan to implant in my professional experience.
Assignment Submission Name: AMANDA WILLETT Student Number: UK88158 Address: Postcode: 03186 Course: HLTA Assignment Number: 1 Date Submitted: 19th January 2015 Number of pages: 5 Email: willettamanda@hotmail.com Task 1 Discuss the training requirements for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) As any good TA (Teaching Assistant) will agree the key to success is learning by experience, working as a part of a team and of course good well rounded knowledge and understanding of each child’s individual uniqueness. I feel that once this has been achieved, along with some years of experience and a well rounded knowledge of each area within schools in which you maybe required to assist the teacher in helping the children in their care achieve their very best. Taking all of what I have mentioned into account it is then a TA would be ready to embark on the road towards gaining the Higher Level Teaching Qualification, and becoming a fully qualified HLTA! Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) are required to have experience with the group of children with which they will be required to work with. In addition to the experience a perspective HLTA will have to meet a number of training requirements.
The school will be affected by my role because as a team we will plan events that all classes participate in and hopefully enjoy. 6. I was motivated to seek this position because I had experience being a part of SGA before. I enjoyed being a part of the team and now as a rising senior I would like to take on more responsibility because I know I can handle it. I’ve seen the work that goes into planning some of these events
“Bridge Builders seeks to develop among high school students a group of future leaders who can lay aside individual and cultural differences and work for the benefit of all.” This is the mission statement for Bridge Builders which is a program that I participated in my junior year of high school, and now actively involved with my senior year. The program, without a doubt, lives up to its mission statement. During the program we participated in leadership, personal, and team building activities. The program’s methods taught me how to be a great leader in any situation, whether I was leading myself or a group. I also made life-long friendships, and I am still meeting new people at our meetings that we have during the school year.

Dear who may be reading, I am writing this letter in application for senior student/ head boy. The role that I am applying for necessitates an individual who shows a great interest and commitment to the school environment and is confident being a representative for the sixth form and the school. As I enter my final year here at Adeyfield, I want to be able to have the privilege and responsibility to make a vital contribution and change in the sixth form and also the school; this will not only be a benefit for me and my peers but be beneficial to the students lower in the school. A significant skill that I feel I can bring to the role of senior student/ head boy would be the ability to work as an outspoken leader and also the ability to work as part of a team. My participation in the Duke of Edinburgh bronze Award has further developed my skills to be able to work in a group.
A change for the future, a better future. I have always had a dream of becoming Head Girl, if I was to be Head Girl I would encourage all the students of Leeming Senior High School, lower school to upper school, to find the leader within themselves and in return give this school the pride that it deserves. Leeming Senior High School’s Student Council is a group of strongly determined youths, who are highly enthusiastic and dedicated to improving their school for the better, through various ideas that have been thought up by these students and fellow peers. Even though Head Girl and Head Boy are looked upon as leaders of this team, I believe everyone who is involved with the Student Council is equal in every way and it is because of this that the Student Council is able to fully function to the best of its ability. Throughout my three consecutive years of being on the Student Council I’ve learnt so much, that I know I will never forget.
