Unit 2 Assignment 1: Computer Shopper Robert Theiss Choosing the right computer to use for a profession can be a tough decision for a lot of people. Should you purchase a notebook or desktop can be big factor on how well you are able to do your job. I am gonna go in to 3 different professions and state my opinion on which model between notebooks and desktops can suit you better for your daily activities. The first profession I am choosing to discuss is that of a Recruiter especially because I did this job for 10 years and feel I have a very good knowledge on this subject. Without a doubt a notebook is going to suit a recruiter the best for there job but make sure that a lot of RAM is available and your processing speeds are fast as a recruiter is gonna be completing a lot of paperwork off the internet.
Steve Jobs visited the Xerox Parc research lab in 1979. He was amazed at the experimental computer he saw that had a graphical user interface (GUI) and a mouse. Later he said, “Within 10 minutes it was clear to me that all computers would work this way someday” (Isaacson 40). Launched with a Super Bowl commercial the $2,495 Macintosh was “insanely” great, but it was also very flawed. It had only 128 kB of memory and no expansion slots.
So for the educator out of the computers above I would select the 21.5” iMac. It’s a decent computer and has all of the power and storage and educator could need. Next is the Graphic Designer. These guys have extensive requirements for processing power and graphic abilities. For them I would select the MacPro.

The author of the site I got information on, actually planted some trees around the area of the building too. Her name was Canon Anderson. As you can see not all of the Residential Schools harmed the kids attending it, some of the schools actually benefited the Native
11) it is a great example of a new person like myself walking into a public University for the first time. Although my educational history has a lot to do with my life decisions my family and the environment I grew up in are also two big factors. I grew up around a farm so farming became a way of life not just a job. Getting a college degree is important to me because there is a lot behind farming than just the actual labor part of growing and harvesting the seed
At eighteen, I was "kicked out" of the house and later still, at around 20 I left home and stayed in a women's hostel before gaining permanent residence. I am very grateful for the help I received from the "system" and now that I am "on my feet", I would like to pay back to society, by helping others who have faced similar experiences. I have experience of working with varied service users,I am currently a volunteer with Welcare as a "grandparent" and on a full-time basis, I am a Carer with Keratome Ltd , a domiciliary care agency who work in partnership with many councils. I attend to service-users needs within their homes. This involves undertaking tasks according to individual care plans such as putting the service users to bed, dressing them, cooking light meals for them, shopping on their behalf and changing catheter bags.

Within the recent years, The Salvation Army has been helping more people than ever. On or about 30 million individuals have obtained aid from The Salvation Army in the year 2011 alone, but the weight of the mission The Salvation Army faces in societies in the United States continues to be great. In spreading the word of the work of the Salvation Army, one can possibly link the Salvation Army website on a blog, website, or Facebook Page.
