12. DATA INTERPRETATION The data on the graph and the tables show different information and patterns depending on the environment. For the bush environment it is shown that the most camouflaged and well adapted walking sticks were the green-brown colored ones. In the table at the 5th generation there were 16 green-brown walking sticks while there was only 1 green walking stick and zero from brown. This was also the same in the bamboo environment; tables and graphs show that there were 2 brown-green walking sticks left in the end of the 5th generation while the brown and the green walking sticks went extinct. However this was different in the wood chips environment because the most well adapted walking stick was actually the brown walking sticks; by the end of the 5th generation there were 28 brown walking sticks left and the brown-green and green walking sticks extinct. Helper Questions for Data Interpretation Which color of walking stick is well adapted to survive in the bush environment? Which color of walking stick is NOT well adapted to survive in the bush environment? 13. CONCLUSION Helper Question for Additional Information beyond regular Conclusion If the surviving walking sticks reproduced offspring, and birds continued to eat the walking sticks, what might happen to populations of walking sticks and predatory birds in the bush environment? The hypothesis did match the data interpretation because they both explained the walking sticks that will be well adapted and the ones that won’t. So overall in every environment there was one leading type of walking sticks that was able to be well adapted into the environment and survive until the 5th generation. The data interpretation shows that different types of colors impact the survival rate of the walking stick. For example if the walking stick’s color is very similar to the environments color
