Personalized Nutrition and Exercise Plan SCI/241 Keeping a healthy diet and exercise is important for our overall health in our lives. Getting a balanced diet can ensure that we get the vitamins that we need, as well as maintain a healthy weight along with exercise, which can also ensure that we have healthy organs. With doing so, and focusing on the problems that we need to work on, or that could potentially come up, we can ensure that we get the right diet and exercise to ensure a healthier prolonged life span. I have been vulnerable to being anemic. Anemia is when the body is producing a low level of red blood cells. When I was in high school I always had trouble staying awake and concentrated. This is when I decided to seek a doctor, who told me that I indeed had anemia that could be controlled with the right amount of iron levels. I am a person who does not like to eat mean and does not like vegetables either. This is the main reason I have always had this problem. When I become pregnant with my two children, I was so anemic that my doctor had to prescribe strong levels of iron pills to reach the iron levels necessary to be healthy. Some of the signs and symptoms of anemia would include pale skin and lips, dizziness, lightheadedness, and rapid heartbeat. I must admit that I still get these symptoms and my diet has not changed much, so I am sure that I am still struggling with this deficiency. In order to reach my goal of reaching a healthy level of iron in my body I need to be sure that I consume the correct foods necessary. Some of these foods may include grains, meats, leafy greens, and other vegetables. This will ensure that I come to a healthy state.
