Filming also took place in Wales, the Canary Islands (Spain) (primarily at the World Heritage Site, Teide National Park in Tenerife), Maspalomas Dunes, Gran Canaria, and Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote. Aerial photography was conducted in Iceland and Ethiopia. Theme: About gods and goddesses, how mortals and gods differ from their lives, and how humans persevere to change the fate given to them by the gods. Visual Effects / Elements The visual effects add to the movie’s realness, and the sound effects give the viewers more anticipation due to high quality sounds. Also, the visuals gave the monsters a more “scary” look, and it also gave the movie a more brutal fight, which depicts on how Greek warriors mercilessly fight on each other. Conclusion: Score: 5.5 The movie did well on showing the realness of the scenes with very high quality visuals combined with fine sound effects, but for me the story itself didn’t do well on catching my attention; I got bored at the near end of the story because I didn’t see why it’s titled “Clash of the titans” when there are really no titans shown on the movie itself.
