This hurts the patient and makes you wonder if the public health care is workable. People who are for private for profit health care use wait time as a reason to justify the introduction of privatized health care system. The good news is wait time is fixable. To reduce wait time system wide improvement in health care system is needed. From the research that I made I come up with financial incentives to be a major step to be taken for the reduction of patient wait time.
There are so many answers to this question (i.e. take on another job, Go to or go back to college, or seek public assistances etc.) all that is an excellent answer, but it is hard to do, especially if a single parent cannot be there for their kid(s) if they take on another job(s) they will spend all their time at work to support their kid(s); or some people cannot go to or back to college because their multiple job requires them to work long hours and if they seek help from the government it is so much they can do considering the economy crisis. That is why it is important to increase the minimum wages so they won’t sacrifice their time with time away from their family and could enroll in or go back to school/college to earn their GED or degree so they could have better paying job. With the increased of pay, low and middle classes don’t have to worry to make any sacrificing the essentials that they or their family need; According to Time for a Raise, “If the minimum wage was increased to a level at which families could sustain themselves, fewer people may end up needing government assistance for housing, food, or health care.
This mass expansion of health care in America must have an effect on utilization, but this effect is not yet known and is subject to vast speculation and controversy. Many people fear that the system will become overloaded and that Americans will be forced to get on waiting lists for care or perhaps deal with providers that are chosen for them. Due to the fact that the reforms force Americans that can afford health care to buy in, however, there will likely be less people cramming emergency rooms seeking free care. Perhaps the most important change in utilization forecast is the shift from treatment of disease to preventative care. The reforms and expansion of health insurance and specials provisions relating to preventative care are designed to get Americans to think about preventing disease before it happens.
Here you have to have some education and a good paying job and wear brand name clothes but there are some citizens who may look high class but they just dress well to make other people assume that they are. A lot of native people have to get time off their jobs do to traditional ceremonies and they end up putting it behind them because they need the money. Today education is important to getting a good paying job which puts a lot of pressure on the youth. Many are afraid that their culture and traditions will soon die out. I would first reduce the staff of the agency to save money. The hospital could save money with paying less people hourly wages. Unfortunately, if the hospital gets too busy, they could be
To survive, many things are taught to people including don’t start a sentence with “a lot” self learned behaviors or just plain common sense. So while you’re in college make sure you have some money constantly running in rather it be from your parents or just a side job so that you can buy some things and pay them off. Once you pay them off without the creditors asking you then your financial doors will open you’ll begin to get
The current alternative to the fee-for-services is the capitation arrangement. The physicians believe that the pay-for-performance is controlling how that he or she conducts the practice, but it will eliminate many expensive and unnecessary procedures (Shi & Singh, 2012).The pay-for-performance in the United States healthcare industry comes after the capitation and managed care and if managed correctly will become an asset and if not it will become a major blunder. The goal of pay-for-performance is to change patient behavior and doctors and hospitals with a rewards systems or punishment. A pay-for-performance bonus for doctors can be an increase for the general fee-for-service hospitals can receive an extra in the form of the diagnosis group-based payment (Shi & Singh,
To eliminate such process, the new bill will, offer new, low cost coverage through a national “high risk” frees, to protect people with preexisting condition until a new exchange is created. The pro of the new health care bill is that it will not add a dime to the current deficit and it is paid for, upfront. This reform will create independent commission of doctors and medical experts to identify waste, fraud and abuse in the health care system. Not only that, but it will order immediate medical malpractice reform projects that will help doctors to put their patient first instead on defensive medicine practice. However, it will require large employers to cover their employees and individuals who can afford it to buy insurance so that everyone will the share the responsibility of the
They can raise prices at any point. However, I think that for our nation to move forward we need to limit the costs of health care. It should not be a completely profit driven industry which it is at this time. A change needs to occur to make the insurance companies focus on helping people rather than making money. All individuals should have access to health care including those who can not afford to pay for it.
