America The land of the free, the home of the brave, and the abode of opportunity – this is America. America is a land filled with rolling hills, spacious skies, and amber waves of grain. It is the home of purple mountains in all their majesty above the fruited plains, yet this is nothing but the physical presence of a great land. America is the people who embrace the ideals for which our great forefathers gave their lives. It is those true Americans who hold to the truth that “that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” These principles are the very fiber that made this country great. Many scorn at the truth of why this nation stands above all others and try to change the reality of history, but we know that history is the knowledge of the past, and that knowledge can never be altered. The patriarchs of the American government founded this nation on the ethics of hard work, the morals of Providence’s will, and the principles of what is right. Through those views, we are able to enjoy what we have today. Every person has the privilege to pursue anything he wants to. Here, in the United States of America, everyone has the power to thrive in life, and it is because of this desire that this country is as prominent as it is today. As the hunger for the noble form of knowledge grows, it cultivates further achievement. The spirit of patriotism lives within many of us, instilled in our hearts by the landmarks of those who came before. May we never lose the morality and patriotism that holds this country together, for if we ever lose it, we fall as the great Roman Empire once did.
