Sample Candy Argumentative Essay Picture with me, if you will, a young woman. She is clearly exhausted after a long day of teaching high school English, and yet there is still a huge pile of papers waiting to be graded stacked on her desk. Her hand is weary from writing “Fantastic Job!” on all of her students’ argumentative essays, and she looks like she could fall out of her chair at any minute...Suddenly her head perks up, she reaches into her squeaky desk drawer, and pulls out her motivation to make it through to the last paper – a bag of peanut M&M’s. Peanut M&M’s most definitely saved this teacher’s day, and are simply the best candy around because they “melt in your mouth and not in your hand,” satisfy your hunger, and only contain 250 calories per bag. The first reason why peanut M&M’s are the best candy around is because they “melt in your mouth and not in your hand.” In these tough economic times, consumers want to make sure that they get their money’s worth in every purchase they make. The M&M company is well aware of that desire, and so the person eating peanut M&M’s can rest assured that she is getting what she paid for because all of the candy will be enjoyed in her mouth, and none of the precious chocolate will be wasted on her hands and eventually wiped of on a napkin that ends up in the trash. Some may argue that even though peanut M&M’s for the most part do well to not melt in the bag or all over someone’s fingers, if it is really hot outside even the toughest candy shell will give way and the chocolate will stick to the candy wrapper or the consumer’s hand. While this is true, it is completely unreasonable to ask the M&M hard candy shell to stand up to extreme heat, and when the company claims that the M&M will “melt in your mouth and not in your hand,” that fact is based on normal to slightly warm temperature conditions.
