The Same Sex Marriage Should Be Legalized. It is 2014 and we are still debating this topic. What topic you ask? Legalization of same sex marriage. It has been debated in many countries for quite some time now. It is an important issue because it concerns basic moral and human rights. In the past recent years a lot of gay couples have came out and expressed their sexual choice. In the past many people were highly against the legalization of same sex marriages. It would be said that its against the bible its inhuman, God wouldn’t approve of this. How many more people in this world have to be gay in order for us as people to ask a simple questions, “Does God keep creating them because he wants them around? When people bring up religion and say its written in the bible that is such a week argument. Its actually written in Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: They shal surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. What they fail to realize is it also says in Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuttings into the flesh on the account of the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the lord. Basically what im trying to say is that are people with tattoos aloud to even comment on same sex marriage? Do we just judge everyone else’s sins and not mention our own? Its ironic when people start to lose a debate and say well God said so, so I don’t need to answer anymore. Gay people as of now are only aloud to have partnerships but not marriages. It is unfair to let straight people get married but not gay people. Its as if Gay people are second class in the nation that we live in. The point of marriage is for people to ultimately commit one another to each other. Whomever gets married should not offend anyone else other than the two whom want to live with one another for life.
