Rough Draft Personal Narrative Throughout my life I have gone through multiple struggles that have affected me in a number of different ways. Around the age of 12 there were a hard couple of years regarding sports, school and getting introduced to being a teenager. As I was 12 years old and playing baseball at the time, there was always a lot of stress as I was a pitcher and had to put the game on my back. During July of my 12-year-old year, my team had attended a tournament in Cooperstown New York right near the baseball hall of fame. This experience was crazy as I walked into this huge place full of history I could smell the history as if it was a piece of food lying right in front of me. When I finally saw our standing place, I had never felt so excited in my life almost like a cougar knowing that he sees his dinner in the corner of his eye and about to pounce on it! I knew how hard we had worked and what we had to do to come this place and it had finally paid off in the long run. After we had realized that we got into the playoffs, we had 4 byes so we had to wait all day until 7:30 for our first play off game. The wait was so long it was as if I had been waiting my whole life just for one game and I couldn’t handle my excitement and nerves at the same time! AT 6:30 it was finally our time to take the field. As I walked onto the field I could see the beautiful field that had been groomed and taken care of for centuries at this legendary complex. As I stepped onto the field I set down my bag and went to feel the delicate dirt that lay upon the field. I ran the grains of dirt through my hands and really felt how soft it was, knowing I would embrace it while I played an hour later. We got warmed up and put my sharp metal spikes on in
