“ Role Model Mother ” I cannot help but admire the immaculately dressed and beautiful lady. At the age forty-five, she holds herself very well and has the charm and grace to go with it. I hope to be like her some day. She is my mother, Mrs. Rofilah, my lovely mother. My mother stands 154, with a petite, slim figure and distinguished features to match. She has a fair complexion, smiling eyes and she has rosy cheeks and red lips. Her rather serious demeanour gives her an air of authority. Yet, behind her steel-rimmed glasses are the soft, kind eyes. My mother has always been my source of encouragement. When I was very young, she would take a book from our small home library and read to me every night. Secured and loved on her lap, I slept. I remembered, as she read, my mother would point out the spelling of words. Then one day, she asked me to read the words for myself. After that I found that I was able to do so until now. I am fourteen years old. Now I always pick up books and read them on my own. I become quiet and a bookworm. My mother has a stone of wise sayings which may seem common to some but always strike the correct note with me. Once I was really depressed. She came to me and she put an arm around my shoulders and gently asked me, what was troubling me. It really touched my heart and started to cry at the moment. She consoled me and gave me advice. She is really as cool as cucumber at all times. I love her very much. At another time, when I was about to give up on a task, she asked me not to give up just like that. “ Past is over, learn from it ”.
