It is irrefutable that the action and behavior of celebrities have more good or bad effect on people especially on youth. Celebrities are increasingly becoming role models for the youth as their images and lifestyles are splashed across televisions, movies, magazines, and internet in today’s era of technology. I strongly believe this is largely a negative development. A Number of arguments surround my opinion. Are We Responsible To (say) Fuck? Due to the more and more relaxed state of regulations on the use of “forbidden words” in the media, the individual responsibility of using curse words has increased. In this research I have found that the use of curse words has heightened some people’s sensitivity to these words. Children are the most affected and the parents are not far behind. The use of curse words in our media has changed our perspective; children and teens use them sometimes on the daily basis, but is this change a good thing?
Multiculturalism and Substance Abuse Counseling Mary A. Pilsitz Liberty University Abstract One of the most common issues that are faced in many parts of the United States today involves individuals who battle addictions with drugs and alcohol. Many interventions, treatment modalities, and therapies have been designed exclusively in dealing with substance abuse and chemical dependency. However, as the populations across the United States grow increasingly diverse, it is imperative that substance abuse counselors and other mental health professionals be culturally competent in working with various populations. In exploring multiculturalism in the substance abuse counseling field, being culturally competent can be highly effective in a therapeutic environment. Stereotypes of various ethnic groups with regard to substance abuse will also be examined, as well as feelings of cultural alienation and oppression in a treatment setting.

More importantly are the ‘leaks’ that are let out to the media; something that the media is more than willing to run with. These leaks, along with carefully crafted imagery of the war and its participants did take the public’s eye off of the sex scandal; in part due to the ‘credibility’ of the media’s information, because “if it’s on television, it must be real”. The viewer of the movie does have to have a healthy bit of ‘suspension of disbelief’ for this film; especially as things get out of control. But the film does show how the media will and can propagate stories, so long as they get the ratings they want. Even with all the
Research has shown that these steroids can harm kids who are developing. Some of the negative side effects begin to show up in later years. One of the main reasons they are so controversial is because steroids are also illegal. Therefore the question that arises as steroid use increases is “Should anabolic steroids be legalized?” Discussion In this whole anabolic steroids issue, lots of people are involved. There are a number of parties that are all affected by this issue.
It has been for many years, a subject that has not been taught accurately. People are often misinformed about mental disorders through mass media. Mass media has done a great job of forming the opinions of society in a negative way. They have forced people to believe that people with mental illness are dangerous and crazy. When, in fact, people who have mental illness are kind individuals who need someone to understand their condition.
Finally another advantage of Synergy is that it influences the public opinion which again further helps promote their brand but also if Sony Music influences the public they will use more of their products meaning Sony Music may dominate the market and the industry. This is the main reason Sony Music benefits from being part of an Oligopoly. However Synergy does have its disadvantages. For example in the Spiderman example there may problems between conflicting ideas between Sony Music and Marvel so Synergy is easier in theory than in practice so is therefore harder to achieve so
